Welcome to UKMC Online Open Tournament!
We’re so excited to host this special event, which is all about improving our skills, learning from one another, and having fun. Whether you’re an experienced player or brand new to tournaments, this is your chance to meet people from different clubs, cities, and even countries — all while improving communication in English and celebrating the diverse cultures of the Mafia community.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
We will play online on Swipeal. Please let us know beforehand if you have never played on Swipeal yet, as it can take up to 24 hours to open an account on the platform and an additional hour to teach you how the website works.
We’ve designed the event to give everyone plenty of opportunities to play and learn, through 11 qualifying games and 4 finals!

Selection: An open tournament in which all interested players can participate.
Player seating at tables: using a seating generator taking into account the family relationships between players and/or involved judges no later than 24 hours before the start of the tournament.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Saturday 22 February 2025 (14:00-21:00 UK Time)
- 14:00 – 14:15: Check-in and register your online arrival for the first day.
- 14:15 – 15:00: Warm welcome, explanation of the tournament format, and Q&A before we begin.
- 15:00 – 22:00: Playing 8 qualifying games.
Sunday 23 February 2025 (14:00-21:00 UK Time)
- 14:00 – 14:15: Check-in and register your online arrival for the second day.
- 14:15 – 14:30: Refresh of the day format and Q&A before we begin.
- 14:30 – 18:00: Playing 3 qualifying games.
- 18:00 – 18:30: Break & judges’ deliberation.
- 18:30 – 19:00: Sharing results of the Top 10.
- 19:00 – 22:00: Top 10 play the final 4 games.
- 22:00 – 22:30: Break and judges’ deliberation.
- 22:30 – 23:00: Results of the tournament announcement and online awards ceremony.

IMPORTANT NOTES
We want this tournament to be fun and fair for everyone, so here are a few guidelines to keep in mind:
- Participation: Everyone who registers and takes a seat at the table is part of the tournament!
- Punctuality: Please try to arrive on time. If you’re running late (by more than 5 minutes), you may lose a small number of points. If you’re over 10 minutes late, we might need to reassign your seat for that round to a substitute player.
- Fair Play: Let’s keep it friendly — excessive emotional outbursts or unsportsmanlike behaviour could lead to point deductions.
- Breaks: Need to skip a round? Let us know at least 24 hours in advance, so we can find a substitute player. You won’t be penalised for missing one round, but you will lose points for that game (you will be one game behind in your scoring, as you will be awarded 0 points for the game that you missed).
- Respect Matters: This event is all about learning and connecting. Please treat everyone—players, referees, and organizers—with kindness and respect. Offensive language or behaviour could lead to disqualification.
REGISTRATION
Participants apply through the Mafia World Tour website. If your application is approved, you will be added to the Telegram tournament channel. Payment information is sent to each participant in a private message. Until the tournament is paid, your application is under review and will be processed according to priorities.
TOURNAMENT RULES
All tournament rules will be conducted following FIIM rules (https://mafiaworldtour.org/fiim-rules) and the rules of the Swipeal website.
